- REMOVE ALL THE WATER FROM THE COVER AND ANY DEBRIS.
- REMOVE CABLE AND CLIPS IF ANY OFF THE COVER
- ROLL THE COVER AS BEST YOU CAN OFF OF THE TOP OF THE POOL AND TRY NOT TO HAVE THE COVER GO INTO THE WATER BECAUSE THE DIRT ON THE COVER WILL FALL INTO THE WATER.
- BRING YOUR FILTER AND HOSE, CLAMPS, RETURN JET ASSEMBLY OUT TO THE POOL
- CONNECT THE MIDDLE UNION BETWEEN THE MOTOR AND THE FILTER TANK. USE TEFLON TAPE AROUND THE THREADS. HERE’S WHERE YOU MAY GET CONFUSED. FIRST VERIFY THE FITTING ON THE MOTOR IS TIGHT. THEN DO THE SAME FOR THE FITTING ON THE FILTER TANK SIDE. HAND TIGHTEN THE UNION TOGETHER. TIGHTEN IT BY HAND UNTIL YOU SEE THE FITTING ATTACHED TO THE FILTER START TO MOVE. AT THAT POINT USE A PLYERS TO HOLD THE FITTING ON THE FILTER TANK SO IT DOES NOT MOVE WHEN YOU FINISH TIGHTENING THE UNION.
- HOOK UP YOUR HOSES. BE SURE TO HOOK UP THE HOSES CORRECT
- BE SURE TO TIGHTEN ALL CLAMPS BEFORE STARTING THE FILTER. YOUR WATER LEVEL SHOULD BE AT LEAST HALFWAY UP THE SKIMMER OPENING.
- BE SURE TO REMOVE SKIMMER CLOSURE (AQUA DOOR PLATE OR ANY OTHER DEVICE YOU ARE USING). ALSO, REMOVE THE RETURN JET PLUG AND PUT YOUR RETURN JET ASSEMBLY IN THAT HOLE.
- CLEAN THE DEBRIS FROM THE POOL. IF THE POOL IS CLOUDY AND YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SEE THE BOTTOM ADD LIQUID SHOCK.
- YOU CAN RUN YOUR FILTER AT THIS POINT; HOWEVER IT WILL MOVE THE DIRT AND LEAVES AROUND AND MAKE IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR YOU.
- INSTALL YOUR LADDER SYSTEM. BE SURE TO PLACE YOUR MAT IF YOU ARE USING ONE UNDER THE LADDER ONCE YOU ARE ABLE TO GET INTO THE POOL.
- IF YOU HAVE A ROLL GUARD LADDER YOU WILL HAVE TO USE A GARDEN HOSE TO FILL UP THE TWO HOLES ON THE INSIDE TOP OF THE LADDER. IF YOU HAVE STEPS OFF OF YOUR DECK YOU WILL HAVE TO FASTEN IT AS WELL AS CHECKING TO SEE IF EACH UPRIGHT POST HAS SAND IN IT.
